SO I thought I was all alone in my world of Twilight love until I read that Cheree had read it. Remember awhile back when I wrote about about my obsession about a book, well it was Twilight. Now that the new one to the series came out I have gotten obsessed again. It really has gotten to a point where I have to hide it from my husband. I literally have all three books memorized.
I am slowly recovering from this sickness and now I am focusing all my efforts on getting our front yard landscaped before winter.
I want to hear what everyone thought of the series or book. I am always surprised at what people thought of each of the characters, especially Jacob and Edward.
If you haven't read the book yet, this book is like a movie that everyone tells you is awesome and then when you watch it and it isn't as good as you thought it would be. I still think you should read it.

Oh, I remember your obsession. You were the first one to tell me about Twilight. Then Jessie, Cheree, Sarah Coleman, now the Pittsburgh girls. I'm halfway through book 2. I'm loving Edward, Jacob is coming into the picture a whole lot more now. Not sure how I feel about that. He's a nice KID, but I don't think he makes her skin crawl (in the good way) like Edward. I'll be in touch when I finish.

I am with all of you... I just read all three books over the last couple of weeks... I don't know if I can wait a year to read the next one.
We read Twilight for our book club this month, and we are meeting tonight to discuss it.
If you have not checked out her website you need to. It is Stepheniemeyer.com. She has outtakes and extras from the first two books. And the first chapter of Edwards point of view when they first met. I also love the actors she has picked to play the characters in the book. I am totally on board with the now too old Edward. I was crying along with her. You will understand if you see the website. Happy addiction everyone.
The whole time I was reading Twilight, I was thinking that this book could make a great movie... We'll see! What is it with this book that has people so obsessed with it? We went to the Mesa Temple last week and I thought... maybe I should just take a trip to Stephanie Meyer's home and pick up Eclipse... instead I went to Barnes and Noble.
I too love these books. I took three days of totally neglecting EVERYTHING and read the first two. I have the third sitting on my counter and haven't opened it yet. There are two reasons for this. First, I have to get somethings done before I start reading again. Second, I think that I am putting it off because Jacob has become more of a character and I don't want him to interfere with Edward and Bella. (Yes, I know how that sounds, but I can't help it.)
